Bosch has developed a new 6-star rated EcoLogixx tumble dryer ($2899), which they claim is gentler, quieter and more energy efficient. This dryer uses ActiveAir Technology, an innovative development that operates without using conventional reheating. Drying air is heated with the help of the heat pump and existing heat is efficiently re-used. Its energy consumption is 55% lower than other Bosch condenser dryers.
It also comes with a Sensitive Drying System, a combination of a 6.5kg anti-wrinkle stainless steel drum, SoftFlow paddles, and the ability to select the right drying program. Added to functionality is convenience in the form of a fully automatic, self-cleaning, maintenance-free condenser. Full drying performances, with the lowest consumption values, are ensured for the life of the appliance. Further benefits include quick drying in just 40 minutes and silent operation.
