The Building Code of Australia has been reprinted for 2005, continuing with the bound format as well as now also being available on CD. The BCA is an essential building and design practice reference, detailing government legislation and referencing relevant Australian Standards. The Building Code of Australia comes in two bound volumes. Volume 1 is the commercial building code; volume 2 is the residential code. Volumes 1 and 2 can be purchased together for AUD$220, or alternatively volume 2 can be purchased on its own for AUD$130, in hardcopy (softcover) or on CD. The building code is issued as a subscription, whereby the user is entitled to receive amendments to the printed version for a twelve month period after purchase. The volume one and two set comes with internet access to the BCA as well as the hard copy. Please consult the Building Bookshop staff as to your requirements for the Building Code. WARNING: The BCA Volume 2 can be purchased on its own, however Volume 1 cannot be purchased on its own; it must be purchased with Volume 2. The Guide to the BCA is also available for AUD$130.
